Nice American Town
This is where I got to spend a year as an exchange student in the US. Spokane is not necessarily known to be the party capital of the US. But it's a nice (quite American) town with very pretty parks and great wildlife surrounding it.
Pros and Cons
- Pros:beautiful parks and nature
- Cons:small, quiet, and not "cool" like Seattle
- In a nutshell:A good place for nature lovers

You're right that Spokane isn't the party capital of the world...I always think of old people when I think of Spokane. But if you think Spokane is bad, you should have come down to Tri-Cities!
Hey...I have a friend that goes to WSU! Is that where you studied? She did undergrad at Pullman, but I think she's in Spokane now. I haven't visited her there yet, but I have visited her in Seattle a couple of times.
Spokane really is a neat place - I would think, that being an exchange student there must have been a fantastic experience!
