Watch out where u go!

the bright side of the country
Welcome to Germany, Europe's largest economy with lots of different areas.

Germany is a beautiful and old country in the heart of Europe.

But Germany also can be very disappointing, if you visit the wrong places, because there are many ugly ones.

If you do some research, you will find out where is beautiful and where is not.

The south of Germany is very impressive: You have world-famous Bavaria with the wonderful mountains, many great lakes and the most historic and beautiful cities - as well as the famous castles.
In the south-west of Germany, you will find the black forest, great wine regions and Germanys biggest lake, the "Bodensee" or "Lake Constance" in English.

ICE train in Germany

A great train network

Like anywhere in Europe, trains are very popular to get from one place to another. Germany has the super-modern ICE trains, which are comfortable, but also not quite cheap to ride.
You can reach virtually any place in Germany by train.
FC Bayern München

Fußball - Soccer - Germany's No.1 sport

Like anywhere in Europe, people love their soccer teams!

Pros:"A few great cities with cultural life and some beautiful landscapes"
Cons:"Some very ugly industrial areas like Ruhrgebiet"
In A Nutshell:"Germany can be great or not so great"
