I have visited it quite a few times, since it is so beautiful and lovely, even though it is a rather small, with less than 200.000 people.
In the old town you are likely to find a lot more tourists than locals.

Famous for Mozart, classical music, old world charm, and the American classic movie "Sound of Music".

Not a very cheap place, with a lot of expensive and posh shopping streets and few places that attract young people, at least not in the touristy areas.

Together with Austria's incredibly beautiful capital city of Vienna, it is Austria's most visited and also most interesting place.
