Paris has a lot of different faces. When you see the ugly buildings of the dirty northern suburbs, as you are coming from the CDG airport, it is hard to imagine the beauty of the center around the most romantic river in the world.
Paris is ALWAYS crowded with tourists.
Most people want see the main sights at least once in their lifetime.
One should also mention that Paris is probably the most expensive city in the world and the nice restaurants there seem to be reserved for the super-rich. |
