Visit gaucho cities outside Buenos Aires.

I recommend you to do a tour around Buenos Aires, and visit many of the smaller gaucho cities you can find there. You have to eat the asado in these places!

Plaza de Mayo. Plaza de Mayo Review

Here you will find the the Cathedral, the Cabildo and the Casa Rosada. Whenever there are big protests people gather in that square.

China Town.

It is just two blocks but there are many cheap and really cool shops here. It is in Belgrano, close to the train station.

Plaza Dorrego.

Plaza Dorrego is in San Telmo, where a there are lots of antique shops. In the early 19th centure it used to be the most expensive area in Buenos Aires. The richest and most traditional families used to have huge houses here. But then there was a plague, the yellow fever. And all the families escaped to their farms in the countryside. They left the houses with everything in them. Thinking they would be intact when they came back. But their houses were taken by the poor people. Lots of families shared one house and in some parts of San Telmo you will find these crowded houses with lots of poor people living in them. They are called "conventillos".

Plaza Serrano.

In the heart of Palermo you will find Plaza Serrano. Lots of cool shops around here together with bars and restaurants. You will find many trendy and cool shops with all kind of things and also very nice bars.
