"Lille" Lille by vichatherly

Manchester United have played LOSC Lille Metropole three times now in the Champions League but yet have had a chance a to play the actual game in Lille. Twice we have gone to Lens in 01/02 and 06/07 and in-between those times we played in Paris in 05/06. Please see my other pages for more detail of the trips.

My last trip to Lille was in February 2007. We travelled by minibus to France using the Channel Tunnel. We decided to spend the night before the match in Lille before heading off to Lens on the day of the match.

I therefore did not have much chance to fully explore Lille itself, other than frequent a few French bars and a decent restaurant around the station area. Nothing too exciting about the place really.

• Cons:A bit dull - Not too many highlights
• In a nutshell:Get yourself in a decent restaurant for the evening
