I travelled down to Marseille on a long mini bus journey with a few friends in the summer of 1998. The World Cup was being held in France and so we decided to hop on a ferry and join in the fun. We were going along to try and get tickets for the England v Tunisia game which was being played in the Stade Velodrome.
We were lucky enough to buy tickets outside the ground and even managed to get five tickets in the same row and in the England section.
We stayed in a local cheap hotel for the night. |
