Getting TO/AROUND: I was travelling on my own and wanted a cheap way of getting to the city centre from CDG airport. I found the Roissybus to be very simple to use. It only took about 45 minutes to get to the Place de L'Opera on a Tuesday night around 21:00. Well worth the 7.35 Euros. Getting the bus back proved a little bit trickier. I first had to find the bus stop which was around the side of the Opera House. Then I had to wait for two buses to come and go because they were too full up. Give yourself a lot of time to spare, unlike me. I arrived back at CDG with about minus 5 minutes on the clock. Luckily my flight had been delayed!

Getting TO/AROUND: I caught the Easyjet evening flight from London Luton airport to CDG. Very simple procedure at both ends and at a low cost I shall be using them again.

Getting TO/AROUND: Paris has an excellent Metro system. Get yourself a one day Mobilis pass and then plan your routes for the day. However, like in London, it can be far quicker to head for a central station and then walk around from there. Use the metro for longish journeys as a way of getting across Paris quickly and cheaply. Also look out for the photo oportunities that some of the famous "Metropolitain" station signs provide.

Getting TO/AROUND: We took the Eurostar from London to Paris. Waterloo to Gard Nord to be exact, which is not too far from the Montmartre area of Paris. The trip takes around 2 to 3 hours depending on the time of travel. it's s really good way to get to Paris if you don't like the airport. If you looking for a bargain tickets, its best to book way in advance and keep looking at the website for deals. A good tip would be to save the hassle and buy your metro pass before you leave London at Waterloo, so you're ready to whiz into action as soon as you arrive.
