I've had the chance to visit Washington on... now FIVE different occasions, in Summer, Winter and Spring, in the 80's and in the 90's, and now in the 2000's, so each trip was very different from another. This hasn't made me an expert, though, and this page features just the most basic places of this great town. The picture above portraits a sunset on the Potomac River. I work in Washington and am always interested in seeing someone else's impression of the city. Great page. But I would suggest using the Metro and leave the car parked outside of the city. Less traffic and no problem parking. | aukjejetty Tue Jun 10, 2003 17:08 UTC

Very good info!!! Living only couples hours (by plane) of Washington... I still haven't the time to visit it!!! |
