This palace is now a museum with great works of art by artists like Van Gogh and the very Vienesse Gustav Klimt (nobody leaves Vienna without hearing about him). A good audio-tour makes anyone deeply appreciate the paintings.

Linked to the Schloss Belvedere by a long garden, this building is part of the Belvedere complex, though much less sumptuous than the upper palace. Still, its interior is well worth visiting. I imagine the palace owes its name to the nice panoramic views it has over Vienna...
