Mandı is the only island in the Danish part of the Wadden Sea protected by a dike stretching almost the whole way round the 8 km2 island. One single range of dunes at the highest point of the island protects Mandı village from the sea to the west.Anyone wishing to see Mandı, day-trippers in particular, are advised to take the Mandıbus, a tractor bus that every day during the summer leaves the carpark west of Vester Vedsted
