We visited Versailles last August, during a summer holidays trip. We decided at the last minute, driving from the Normandy back to Italy, cause both missed it during our past trips in Paris. We stopped for 4 days in Rambouillet, a nice small village close to Versailles, famous for a big forest and a nice Castle. We arrived early in the morning for the visit day, but a day is not enough. Versailles is too big and it's a pitty to visit quickly all the domain. We lost the Trianon and the most of the park, but we can be glad about what we saw. And who knows, may be one day....we could come back. |

i have always wanted to go to versailles, and when i finally made it to paris my idiotic friend didnt want to spend time looking at "boring gardens". argh!!! not to worry, i will get here one day! love your page! xxx |
