I was based in Dallas from October 1997 to March 2000 when I moved to Boston, Massachusetts. And although I have lived in Boston for over two years now, most of my worldly belongings are still in a storage locker on Greenville Avenue back in Dallas... Did I offend an English teacher in ridiculing the Texas drawl? I forgot there are laws against jokes in the USA these days. Too bad, I know many Texans think it’s funny & they enjoy making fun of my Hoosier hick accent. Please don’t read my Boston page. |
