I just returned from the 2nd Annual Spring Fling mountain biking trip. Each year, we take a trip to a new mountain biking location. Last year was Moab, UT, and this year it was Fruita, Colorado. Along with my cousins, we met some of my friends down there. One couple has written two books on biking around the world and the other friends are active in the race circuit. This trip was all about the SOUL RIDING though.
Fruita, Colorado is the home of the annual Fat Tire Festival that is held at the end of April.
Let me tell you, the mountain biking and desert riding in this area is epic. It is possible to loop trails all day long and get your share of fun or abuse as some people may believe. |
