The Last American Wilderness I went to Alaska this summer for a cultural experience at an Athabascan summer fishing village. During my stay at Old Minto Camp, I experienced the Native ways of knowledge and how Athabascan Elders are apart of the youth's educational system. During this trip, I not only learned about another culture but I learned a little about myself while existing in the wilderness. |
