i didnt realize tokyo had no trees and only cement. until i came back to los angeles and said wow! trees! i also didnt realize how compacted tokyo is. the cool thing is, somehow tokyo is efficent and works perfectly. I dont think if L.A. was this compact and crowded tghat anyone would survive! things would go haywire. |

|  | homes are squished together! Tokyo has few homes due to lack of space.....mostly people live in high rise appato (apartments). but other smaller (but still big) cities have more homes. this is a tokyo suburb and I saw more crowded homes than in this photo! |
