Sandown and the surrounding towns- Derry, Londonderry, Hampstead...are all beautiful, quaint towns with historical buildings, beautiful meadows, rolling hills.... if you want hustle and bustle and plenty of shopping this isn't the place for you, but it is beautiful with a small town feel.
I liked how green and flower-y NH is in the summer. In California, it gets so hot and dry (think 90 degree plus days and no rain for up to 6 months) that summer, everything is dead, brown from heat so seeing green was a welcomed change. |
