Went to edinburgh as my excursion trip on the Haggis Tour.

Also, my grandfather was born in Scotland. He would call me, slurring his words, but really it was his accent......little kids don't understand such things!

I woke up early one morning before I was to leave to go back to london. I woke early to call home, it was about 6:30am. I was starved and no shops wee opne. I could walk acorss the cobblestone streets and there was no traffic. the rising sun set a very calm and picteuresque mood on the scene. I walked to the high mile or whatever it is. That had some action, people uhrrying ot their busses. I walked across a bridge and got lost in the shuffle.

I returned near my hostel and called home in one of those typical red telly booths.

I remember the charm of an awakening city very fondly. i cant really describe it.
