The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

by Elmsaafir - last update: Apr 29, 2004

My year in the Kingdom

Well, just starting a new job in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It's a fascinating place, made all the more so for me not being Muslim. There's always a sense of "You ain't from around here, are you, boy..." Still, I'm glad to be here, and look forward to posting pictures of the different sights and experiences here.
I'm living in Riyadh, and travel occasionally up to Dammam and Hofuf, and down to Jeddah.
This is my favorite sign...
