Beaches and Jungles

Welcome to Costa Rica
We stopped here on our honeymoon cruise. While here, we did a jungle walk...not real strenuous or anything (since we had several octegenarians on the trip), but a nice intro to the rainforest.
Port of Limon

Limon

The ship stopped in Limon, Costa Rica. Not a whole lot to see here, but it's a popular entry point for cruise ships. It's on the Carribbean coast.

There's a tourist bazaar right outside the port entry, which has all the usual touristy souvenirs. Most are probably overpriced for the non-haggling cruise ship riders...
The sun reflecting off of the bay was beautiful...

Pros:"Rainforest, species diversity, coffee"
Cons:"Far too much to see on a day's stop"
In A Nutshell:"Amazingly lush, rich place in history, people, and environment"
