The Niagara Falls are on a lot of people’s Lists of Places to Visit Before You Die. And rightly so: They’re an amazing natural attraction and a visit to the Falls is something you’re not likely to forget in quite some time.
Mind you: You only need about half a day to properly explore the Falls, after that you *could* go on travelling further. The Falls appear to be one of the preferred locations for honeymooners, but once you have satisfied your Falls related curiosity, what remains is a predominantly commercial spectacle. You’ll be hard pressed to find anything romantic about gazing your significant other into the eyes while being in the middle of some tacky amusement stores or WWF inspired fairground rides.
So unless you’re a complete and utter waterfall enthusiast, spending not more than a night there is probably the most sensible thing to do. |
