I think Virtual Tourist is a useful tool for anyone setting off on their holidays. I have found lots of inspiration from other members' pages and, as a result, visited sights hardly mentioned in guide books (for example Sedlec in the Czech republic).
Thanks to everyone who has already rated my pages. If any of my tips help someone to enjoy a break a little bit more it's well worth the work. Please let me know if you find any information that needs to be updated, for instance because something has closed down.
My favourite things are mountains, paragliding, waterfalls and food. It's a good job that walking to the first three usually counteracts the third!

Not just a winter resort, there are lots of sports still available in the summer. Paragliding is my hobby but if you fancy a one off tandem they should be available almost every day. Please see my Verbier page.

We each lugged our own tripods, ah the price you pay for a good waterfall shot! Definately worth it though! If you like waterfalls, I've got more pix on my Rickett's Glen page, there are over 20 waterfalls there!
