<< In Times past, when people wandered the world on foot, rode on horseback, or sailed in ships, the journey itself accustomed them to the change. Images of the earth passed ever so slowly before their eyes, the stage revolved in a barely perceptible way. The voyage lasted weeks, months. The traveller had time to grow used to another environment, a different landscape. The climate, too, changed gradually. Before the traveller arrived from a cool Europe at the burning Equator, he already had left behind the pleasant warmth of Las Palmas, the heat of Al-Mahara, and the Hell of Cape Verde Islands.

Today, Nothing remains of these gradations. Air travel tears us violently out of snow and cold and hurls us that very same day into the blaze of the tropics. Suddenly, still rubbing our eyes, we find ourselves on a humid inferno. We immediately start to sweat. >>

When travelling, you get involved with other cultures, you notice other points of view that you have never thought about and that make you review many of the thoughts you had in your mind as real truth.

When you are unable to travel, little things that we have near us can take us to those thoughts and experiences we have when travelling.
This is a book, a film, the music, a good exibition,...that's what also make us discover other worlds that some times are not so far away as we think.

That's what I introduce in my 2nd travelogue. books, films, and music, that has made me understand others living far from home, and even to understand better the things that happend near me at home.
Those things tell you a lot about life!

I started to travel with my family. Each year in July we were renting a van and get around spain with the Spanish Hotels guide handly and were on route for the whole month. Also some year for new year's eve we went to some fascinating places like Egypt, Rome or Paris. At that time I knew I wanted to travel and decided to study Travel and Tourism. Then when I was finishing my studies I started to work for Iberia airlines of Spain in 1999. Once inside the airline industry I did my pilot career and now once finished i'm still working as a Flight attendant and shearching a possition as a First Officer on an airline.
