Chinatown offers the visitor an astonishing array of jewellery, hardware, wholesale food, and automotive and fabric shops - and almost all at cheaper prices than anywhere else in Bangkok. Despite its grungy style, Chinatown offers a wonderful glimpse into 300 years of cultural development, and more fantastic food than any human could eat in a lifetime.

During the full moon of every month, locals and tourists alike travel to the crescent shaped beach of Haad Rin on Ko Phangan, an island located in the middle of the Gulf of Thailand to celebrate the Full Moon night. About 100 km from the mainland, the Island is said to attract roughly 5-10,000 visitors each month. As the evening progresses, party go-ers dance and drink the night away while others wade out in the warm Gulf of Thailand. Pure Heaven!

The largest and most popular park in Bangkok, Lumphini holds an artificial lake in its center with green lawns and walking paths surrounding it. Best viewed bright and early in the morning when Chinese-Thais practice an old traditional martial arts, Tai Chi. A great escape from hectic Bangkok within Bangkok.

The intersection in front of the MBK shopping center is an interesting sight. There is a network of skywalks linking the four corners of the streets. Makes traffic congestion a little lighter but makes crossing the road more tedious. Nevertheless, a great place to take photos of Bkk on a higher level.
