    • Restaurant Name: Fangshan Restaurant

    Offering Imperial Cuisine, the Fangshan Restaurant inside Beihai Park was an experience that I would definitely recommend. It can be pricey, but there is a wide range of pre-set menus that should be able to accomodate most people. Originally started by the ex-chefs of the Qing Dynasty, the menu provides a look into what the royalty ate inside the forbidden city.

    • Quan Ju De - Beijing Duck Restaurant
    You must try Beijing Duck when in Beijing, and what better place than this. You can order complete fixed menu meals utilizing every bit of the duck, or pick and chose your dishes, which is what we did. Whatever you have, the main course will be the roast duck, expertly carved tableside.

    Directions: The restaurant's main location is in the Chongwen district, but they have outlets in Qianmen, Hepingmen and Wangfujing (where I ate).
