Well, last time I edited this I was about to leave London to live in Cambridge and do my teacher training. I thought I had had enough of city life but it seems I was wrong as here I am, back living in London!
I'm in Kentish Town now, which is quite central - very close to Camden of market fame. It is very different living here as a teacher to a student, although rent still seems just as expensive! I'm living with a couple of good friends, so that helps a lot.
As I write this I am sitting in my parents house in the New Forest, which is a far cry form the city and I do still feel a twinge of homesickness when I drive back to the motorway but I can see myself living in London for a good while yet. Maybe not always so centrally though - I recently discovered lovely Richmond with it's lovely park and quiet river! |
