Houston has become one of my favorite places to visit. I have had many opportunities to come here for business, and on each trip I have made a point of seeing more of the city and its environs. The city gets a bad rap for reasons that I am not entirely clear about. East of town there is a lot of industry. To the southeast are the gulf shore areas and NASA. To the west are some great shopping areas. Downtown has been totally transformed from a once vacant place in the evenings and weekends to a bustling and exciting place to visit. The food and restaurants here are FANTASTIC! Cajun and Mexican food in particular can be found in its' finest forms here. If given a chance this city will amaze you. >>http://www.houston-guide.com |
