Tuebingen is located on the banks of the Neckar River about 40 km south of Stuttgart. It is a beautiful city with many historic buildings, half-timbered houses and a very special atmosphere due to the many students studying at the famous Eberhard Karls University founded in 1477. Famous poets like Hoelderlin and Hegel studied here. |
