I never actually stayed here, but it' s a very nice hotel in a great location and if you can afford the price I'd recommend it.

Again, I don't have first hand experience of staying here but I'm pretty sure it's good.
Unique Qualities: Every US President since 1931 has stayed here - not that this makes it good either but if it's good enough for them.....

My brother and I stayed here for a few days in the summer while waiting to move apartment. It's relatively cheap but the rooms are tiny. The only consolation was that in the smallest room I've ever stayed in we had one of the biggest TVs I've ever had - only in America :-)
Unique Qualities: Guests have the use of the Vanderbilt gym and swimming pool.

This was where I stayed for th emajority of my year in NY. It's NYU's graduate residence in Washington Square Village. Had some fun times!
