I was lucky enough to live in New York for a year while studying at New York University. New York is a wonderful city and I have so many memories and tips I want to share!

My Neighbourhood

Washnigton Square Park

I lived on West 3rd Street in Greenwich Village. This area is dominated by New York University - it's a great neighbourhood and I couldn't imagine a nicer place to live.

Central Park

Now that I've returned to Europe I'm really starting to miss many things about New York (ooh what I'd do for a Deli sandwich). I really want to return here - alas, when I have the money I never seem to have the time, and vice versa, but I will be back here soon!

Pros and Cons

Pros:Where do I start - I love this city
Cons:Cost of living - how did I spend so much :-)
In a nutshell:A city everyone has to see!

Great tips, insights & super photos! I really enjoyed your pages, thanks for sharing... A restaurant called "The Heidelberg" in NY? So at least I won't get homesick when I visit.. haha! Jess :-)

Hey, just wondering if you DID know what the 15 digits on the Union Square South building are. In case you didn't, it's a clock. I live on Union Square West, literally on the park and I watch the clock from my window. :-)

I m NY'r and loved your input on our City...McSoreey's..:-) I was there when they had just started allowing females in its establishment... Central Park....no matter how often I walk through it....every time is exhilarating......
