Actually you might be surpised to learn that this church is actually a Greek Orthodox church build by the Greek Community in Djerba.The Greek Community was once very numerous in Tunisia.There is also a Greek Orthodox church in Sfax and in Tunis.

I loved that Houmt Souk had its interesting fondouks - glad you enjoyed staying in one and your pics looks like the place had some nice character. Nice pics as usual Barry!

We stayed in the same hotel haha ---> and it was a very good choice! Very accurate nightlife tip, we were surprised to see how the city (lively main street with man's cafes) was becoming completely empty during 20 min. before sunset :-)
