And on we went from Toulouse to Bordeaux. This was day 17 of inter-railing so we were quite tired of trains by this stage. We arrived at Gare St. Jean and decided, once again, to walk into town. (One thing about Interrailing is that it does keep you fit - a 3km walk with heavy backpacks - no problem!)
Our first plan was to find cheap accomodation and after about an hour walking around in circles near Place Gambetta we finally found a place in Rue de Temple. As it was late in the day we decided to leave exploring until the next day and instead we went to 'The Blarney Stone' for some home comforts.
We stayed in Bordeaux for four days in all and our only trip outside the city was in search of the Dunes de Pyla at Arcachon. All in all, Bordeaux was a fun city with plenty to do.

U don't have to be professional to be happy... in fact, ameteurs are usually happier people ;-)
Yeah Bordeaux is a nice place, I was there during the Soccer World Cup of 98, so everynight we used to have festivals, concerts etc etc. It was fun, this page of yours bring back some good mmories
