History Starts here

by Imbi - last update: Jan 22, 2003

For such a small area of land England is remarkably diverse. Start in the unsurpassed capital of London. Take a train or drive to England's North with its remarkable Victorian architecture and stunning moors and lakelands. England's Heartland has everything from stately university cities to buzzing urban metropolis. The Home Counties include attractive coastal towns and lush country villages. England's West Country features fine beaches and scenic shorelines, as well as Roman towns and druid ruins. For a complete change of pace and style East Anglia is a haven of tranquillity, quaint fishing ports and expansive country estates.

Nice page, the golf course has a beautiful view of the mountains, would like to have seen that when I was there.

I never been to England and really would like to visit one day. Your presentation make me want it more. Is Shakespeare's Birthplace really off the beaten path?
