  • Favorite Thing: I found this place very pleasant. The glass conservatory makes it perfect for winter. You can get a beautiful view of Vaclavske Nam. Caf? Boulevard is perfect place for a quick coffee or hot chocolate when you are tired of walking around and sightseeing of Prague. It might be a bit pricey but still worth a cup of coffee.
    Address
    Vaclavske Nam 32 Praha 1

  • Favorite Thing: If you are interested in walk to beautiful Prague castle, you could start your journey by taking a metro and get down at station Hradcanska, and you will come across to Lions Gate. You can also take tram number 22 to get to Castle.
Tram 22 is one of the most populat trams, which takes you almost every famous place in Prague

  • Favorite Thing: I believe that by just going to nice posh wine bar or restaurant does not guarantee that you will have a good time out. When Iwas strolling through the narrow winding streets of old Prague, I come across to that small pub. It has a unique quality, which really caught my eye. That special thing was a settee. It was the first time I experienced such a thing in Prague otherwise it is always a horrible looking wooden chair that welcomes you.

  • Favorite Thing: When you go to Vaclavske Nam, you will find so many beautiful things which make Prague wonderful, even the Tourist Information building in Vaclavske Nam is so beautiful that I had to stop and took a photo of it.
You can get all the information from here about travel, accommodation, theatre tickets etc etc.

  • Favorite Thing: The level of tourism here is much higher than anywhere else we've been in Eastern Europe.
Enjoy the live music at Charles Bridge; orchestra playing some folk music and public agathered around them and admiring them.
I really liked few of the Folk songs even though i did not understand a single word.

  • Favorite Thing: When visiting Prague castle, don’t forget to see this torture cell. It has so many equipments to torture people in those evil old days.
I am not sure that all the equipments in the torture cell are from the old days or they are new. I dont have any doubts about cell but it seemed to me that eqipments are new.

    General Tips: Getting around

  • Favorite Thing: To see Prague properly, there is no alternative to walking. And the walking couldn't be more pleasant - most of it along the beautiful bridges and cobblestone streets of the city's historic core. Before venturing out, however, be sure you have a good map. The city is divided into 10 administrative districts; Prague 1 and part of Prague 2 lie entirely within the historic center, and the castle area is bordered by Prague 6 and Prague 7

    Taxi Drivers: Taxi

  • Favorite Thing: Taxi drivers in Prague are notorious for ripping off tourists. Never pick up a taxi on the street: instead call a local taxi company. Airport taxis are regulated but are still known to overcharge. The journey to the centre should take about 20 minutes and cost around 300Kc (£6).

    Charles Bridge: Charles Bridge

  • Favorite Thing: The best approach is to walk from the Old Town, across the ancient Charles Bridge (Karluv most). For over four hundred years, this work of art, built by king Charles IV in 1357, was the only link between the two halves of Prague. Admire the sculptures and avoid the persistent hawkers as you walk across.
