  • It is a very impressive building of white Portland stone, the Hall of Memory is a memorial for those who became victim of all major conflicts of the 20th century.
It has sculpture representing the armed service and all the names could be found inside that building who lost their lives.

  • Victoria Square used to be a grassy park where tourist and locals would picnic on a summer's afternoon but now it has transformed into a pedestrian friendly square.
The statue of Queen Victoria is most noticeable object in Victoria Square.

  • When you are waling in Centenary Square you will not miss this The Flame of Hope.
It was initially lit as a symbol of world peace at the start of the millennium. It is sad that it has been extinguished as
Birmingham City Council cannot continue to pay the running costs of this flame. SAD

  • Dive is the short name of the International Sub-Aqua and Watersports Show. It is a mecca for those who can't wait to get wet, with all the gear you could ever need. Previous events have also included displays of vintage diving equipment, which makes visitors realise how technology has advanced to make exploring the deep both safer and more enjoyable.
