It is a very impressive building of white Portland stone, the Hall of Memory is a memorial for those who became victim of all major conflicts of the 20th century. It has sculpture representing the armed service and all the names could be found inside that building who lost their lives.

The statue of Queen Victoria at Victoria Square, very impressive and attracts thousands of tourists. Every where you go in England you will certainly come across with statue of Queen Victoria, and Birmingham is not an exceptional.

When you are waling in Centenary Square you will not miss this The Flame of Hope. It was initially lit as a symbol of world peace at the start of the millennium. It is sad that it has been extinguished as Birmingham City Council cannot continue to pay the running costs of this flame. SAD
