Dharmikarama Burmese Temple was found in 1803. It was known as Nandy Molah Burmese Temple. There is a pair of elephants at the main entrance of temple, which are called the guards of temple.

The temple has a Main Shrine Hall, Sima Hall, Dinning Hall, Monks Quarters, Preceptors Lodge, Sunday school, Library and a Lecture Hall. There is also wish well in the middle of the temple which is one of the oldest temple in Penang and still in use.

Burmese Temple is has different sections where you could experience very impressive time. apart from those pair of elephants guarding the entrance to this Burmese temple there is a pagoda, a Boddhi tree and a wishing pond. It is the scene of many festivities during the water festival in April.
