Xunantunich

Xunantunich is a Mayan site located a few miles southwest of San Ignacio. The name means "Stone Woman" or "Maiden of the Rock". The site is best known for the towering pyramid known as "El Castillo", which at 130 feet (40 meters) is the second tallest structure in Belize.

 Those steps do look like they could be slippery! That hand winched ferry boat looks cool! Great photos! I don't know anything about this area! Xunantunich looks like an awesome place to explore!
