    • Visit the Asakusa-kannon temple (maybe in combination with Ueno-park). This is a wonderful templecomplex with a great pagoda and a gatehouse with the largest 'lampion' in the world. The atmosphere is one of business as it is besides popular by tourists, also a place where many Japanese go for prayer and future-telling (draw a letter from one of the boxes and who knows what the future installs for you).
