"Zion, (Mormone's) paradise in the desert" Zion National Park by Pavlik_NL

From impressive rockformations to the Narrows

Truely the first non-indians that entered this hidden valley must have thought to find paradise on earth. Zion is a green place with waterfalls, fresh running creeks (hmm, they named it even Virgin River) and strangly rocks that cry out tears (Weeping Rock). At the end of the valley, the mountains are getting closer and closer until the narrows are dangerously compressing the creek down its feet. No wonder that here flashfloods can flush you out, when the rains fall in the backlands. Don't forget to take this thrill, but in a way that you stay dry. At the gateway of the park is a IMAX-theatre that tells the story about Zion.
