Arches N.P. with windows full of beauty | My favourite window to a whole world |
In Moab a golddigger accidently found uranium and after his discovery was made public, the town boomed into excistance. Now-a-days it is not so much the uranium, but the nearby National Park Arches that draws people to this place. And the park is indeed a attraction of world-standard. Again a totally surrealistic landscape is formed by wind and water. As fishfinns huge stone walls are standing in long rows and walking through this maze it is indeed not to be advised to go and find your own trail. When you get lost in this labyrinth it will take you days or weeks to get out, if you get out. Great colours are seen everywhere from rosty brown-red to bright orange and yellow. Here too there are some natural formed bridges and - of course - arches. |

KiKitC Tue Jan 13, 2009 11:06 UTC I really enjoyed our visit to Arches. We actually spent two days playing on the 4x4 trails out there. Beautiful. Great tips. | kazander Fri Dec 17, 2004 20:19 UTC I have been wanting to visit this park for a very long time. Your pictures are beautiful!!! | matcrazy1 Sat Jul 12, 2003 09:07 UTC Wonderful page and destination! Amazing pictures as well. And I must agree - driving the scenic Park roads is amazing but hiking around much better to discover more and more rocky miracles! | Sunshine64 Sat May 3, 2003 19:26 UTC Wonderful photos! Looks like a beautiful place to visit. |
