The largest living things on earth: Sequoia-trees

by Pavlik_NL - last update: Oct 24, 2002

Sequoia and King's Canyon National Park

Sequoia-trees, the largest living things on this planet and fire-resistant. I can still remember that I tried and tried again to put one completely on a photograph, but found out that the only possible way was either to walk far away from it or to make some pictures on top of eachother. Both Sequoia as well as King's Canyon National Park show beautiful nature and very specific fauna and flora. Beware of the bear is however a motto that should not be taken too lightly (unless you want your (rental) car wrecked.

Beautiful page and photos! I loved my visit to Sequoia, and I would love to go back here. But just like you to go backpacking and escape the busy roads and enjoy the beautiful nature!
