The other side, most Grand Canyon-visitors can say. On the North Rim the views into the largest hole in the world are as spectacular as on the South-side. Still, also here many tourists come to be amazed by this great wonder that the Colorado river made throughout many millenia. The North Rim has limited hotelrooms and cabins so reserve or be as lucky as we were (we got a cabin from people that didn't show up). Walks along the great gab are breathtaking as soon as the sun sets towards the horizon. Colours change and shades grow longer and longer. A must for nature-lovers as still it is less crowdy on this side of the Grand Canyon!
