Cologne?!?, how the hell do the English come to these strange titles for towns that are not their own. Okay, maybe it's because this area of germany was French, Dutch and German through the centuries. However, now it's Köln and let's pronouncate it as the citizens do (although they have realy a great accent that comes very close to the Dutch Limburgian!). If you stand underneath the mighty black towers of the Dom, you know you want to discover this city and return again. At night it is strangly aluminated with green light and again I must emphasis that a visit cannot be better planned then in the weeks before Christmas, when throughout the city many Christmas-markets are selling all kinds of "Weihnachts"-stuff.

I in a trip anticipation....I think i will not find so many places on my wall in kitchen))))))))) So many wall plats in my collection))))
I will be visiting Cologne next year and have heard so many nice things about it. Really looking forward to my trip ;-)
Keulen is waiting for me this weekend. First time to sence a german christmas market. I'll have fun. I'm quit sure.
