Anapa with the Black Sea from the hills.

Popular bathingresort surrounded by wineyards.

When Sochi can be called the Saint Tropez of Russia, maybe Anapa can take the position as popular bathingresort for young people and families. The town is like a long stretched lint of buildings along the Black Sea coast. Many of them that are at the beach, are resorthotels and some parts of the beaches are even privat property of one of these hotels. Inland the wineyards go as far as the eyes can reach. Here is one of the centres of the Fanagoria-wine-production.
