    Getting TO/AROUND: Easiest way in getting to Bladel is by car, though busses run frequently from and to the village. For Dutch standards, Bladel is quite isolated, as larger towns are rather distant. Eindhoven is some thirty kilometres North-East and Tilburg somewaht closer to the North-West. In Belgium the closest town is Turnhout, also thirty kilometres far.

     Nice page about an easily overlooked place. Such villages can be true little jewels and I'll visit it soon. The RC church is called St. Petrus' Banden, dates from 1926 and was designed by architect J.H.H. van Groenendael. Just to be complete.    		Canadienne Sun Oct 26, 2003 03:55 UTC
