Straight across the islands of Honshu and Kyushu

The land of the rising sun, although the sunsets are equally great. Everything is so different from where I live and trying to understand the history and culture you frequently loose track. Try to do as the Japanese and stay in Ryokan (Japanese style hotels). Read a lot, before you go as the Japanese even have other customs for going to the bathroom. So, before going, read a lot about "how to behave Japanese style" and you will not be considered a "Western Barbarian", however you will never hear that out loud. But what is more beautiful then the dark amazed eyes of the Japanese lady that poars you the tea in a teaceremony and you acting exactly according to the traditional rules. Brilliant work with so many "secret" kinds of information that most travelers do not know about. The Ryokan and Menshuku information as well as the bathing tips were priceless. Your passion for music, dance, and travel are so evident in your writing.
