Oostende is a great place to be and discover the Belgian coast and Flandres polderland from. The town itself can offer good and decent-priced hotels and staying here you every evening can take a walk along the beach or the boulevard to enjoy the lovely sounds of waves. oostende itself offers a nice park, a pretty church and cousy shoppingstreets, besides the big bathinghouses and the activities around the casino and the boulevard.
