Sainte-Agnès, the sky is the limit

With not even a 1.000 inhabitants this corwsnest village is however special in it's situation. One can discuss about which "village perchées" is the most beautiful (and there are many here), but the highest is the highest and Sainte-Agnès is with 750 metres definately the champion in elevation, not only at the Cote, but in the whole of Europe no place is so close to the sea, yet so high in the mountains. Visitors to Menton can choose between various and who is in for a spectacular drive over the "Balcony of the Cote' d'Azur": a dazzling mountain road.
