Surrounded by Devilish Angels
-thanks to Annapet, who sported us the tickets to the prescreening of Charlie’s Angels.
Go down Market, away from the Embarcadero, past Castro a couple miles, make right on Twin Peaks. go all the way up.
enjoy.
But be aware that even if it is not foggy in the city, it may be foggy here.
Golden Gate Bridge from Fisherman's Warf
San Francisco is known for this bridge. You know what I am talking about.
In the words of the infamous Beret, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah Golden Gate blah blah blah Red because of rust blah blah blah engineering feat blah blah blah people jump off and die blah blah blah blah withstand ground moving blah blah blah.
Address: Northwestern Tip of San Francisco Peninsula
Directions: The bridge is Highway 101's link from San Francisco to the counties North.

China Beach
Nestled in the VERY EXPENSIVE neighborhood of Seacliff, is China Beach. Seacliff is where many of the rich and famous live. Needless to say, nice homes. Buy I like the beach better. Great view of the Bridge.
If you continue to follow the ocean North (east) from Ocean Beach you will soon hit Lincoln Park and eventually China beach (in the Sea Cliff neighborhood), and eventually the Presidio. All part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
I want to say this is an old Navy turret post, where big cannons once stood. Now it is a park where flowers grow. Typical San Francisco.
Directions: North East of Ocean Beach.
Cliff House overlooking Ocean Beach
Where Golden Gate Park meets the waves is called Ocean Beach. It is not exactly the most scenic beach, but for being located smack dab in a major city… what do you expect?
Just on the North Side of the beach is the famous Cliff House Restaurant. I’ve heard mixed reviews, but never have been. I guess you are paying for more of the name and location than the food. Not my style. The more scenic ocean landscape is beyond the Cliff House at Lands End and China Beach, in my humble opinion.
Address: 1090 Point Lobos
Directions: Follow Geary to Ocean Beach.

Golden Gate PArk
Golden Gate Park is a great city park filled with all sorts of good stuff. You can either join the sun-worshippers in the meadows, or take a walk / bike ride along the trails to one of the many picturesque “lakes” (ponds) and maybe end up at Ocean Beach watching the surfers. Sunday is the most popular day to visit because the city closes the main road to cars. About 75,000 take a visit here every weekend - there’s good reason.
.
Directions: you'll have a map of the city, I am sure.
