Favorite Thing: Check out this website for some views of Sydney, the city centre, the old part of the city, the harbour and surrounds. It gives a good idea of how it really looks, and you can make your own judgement. One thing I can really recommend (that is shown on this virtual tour) is the Rocks Markets held on weekends.
